40K Crusade - Beginner Friendly! - February 23, 2026
Greetings curious new generals and experienced commanders alike. You are cordially invited to a beginner friendly Crusade event. Using the revamped 10th edition Crusade system, you will have the opportunity to slowly develop your troops from a fledgling force of 800 points to a mighty force of grizzled and experienced soldiers.Crusade events are similar to our Path to Glory events for Age of Sigmar, a fantastic on ramp for learning the game and taking the experience learned here to larger games with others. Run by friendly community members, they will help you find an opponent on arrival and or be available to teach the game from a the ground level.What this event requires from you:A collection of assembled miniatures to represent an 1000 point 40k 10th ed army. Combat Patrols are a great start as these should be just right or very close to it. Painted minis are encouraged but not required. Your starting force should consist of one hero to be your warlord and one battle line unit at minimum. The other choices are up to you within the 1000 point limit. Named or unique units are not permitted.Have access to your faction IndexTen to twenty six sided diceA tape measure marked in inchesA pad of paper and a writing implement of choiceThese items are an excellent starting point but by no means exhaustive.The event will take place between 1800 - 2200 on Monday's and will be occurring every fortnight. Led by a mighty winged Daemon Prince of Slaanesh, the force is composed of power-armoured warriors – you'll find ten Infractors and ten Tormentors for taking and holding objectives, and pushing forward into melee. Backing them up are two units of Noise Marines, ready to shred the sanity (and armour) of any who dare to oppose you.This boxed set builds 33 multipart plastic Emperor's Children miniatures:– 1x Daemon Prince of Slaanesh with Wings– 12x Noise Marines– 10x Infractors (which can alternatively be built as Tormentors)– 10x Tormentors (which can alternatively be built as Infractors)The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Daemon Prince includes a choice of clawed or hooved legs perched atop either a cracked rock or a pile of stones and skulls. The torso can be equipped with one of two suits of armour – an ornate breastplate suited to Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or a warped parody of power armour for the 41st Millennium – each with a similar set of pauldrons and vambrace-clad forearms. The Daemon Prince can be armed with a hellforged sword, a daemonic axe, or a pair of malefic talons, with a choice of arm poses. From its back sprouts a pair of wings, a grisly trophy rack, or a corrupted Heretic Astartes power pack. Ostensibly led by a Lord on a Juggernaut, whose primary role is to charge into battle first and start claiming heads, the bulk of the force is composed of Bloodletters and Khorne Berzerkers, aggressive infantry to flood the battlefield with lunatic killers. Bloodcrushers, hard-hitting and fast daemonic cavalry, support the army by taking on the toughest targets, while a Master of Executions adds considerable hitting power to your infantry charge.This boxed set builds 38 multipart plastic World Eaters miniatures:– 1x Lord on Juggernaut (which can alternatively be built as a Lord Invocatus)– 1x Master of Executions– 6x Bloodcrushers– 10x Khorne Berzerkers– 20x BloodlettersThe miniatures in this box are easy to customise.
