Miniature Paintalong with Adam Smith 27/09/25
Do you want to improve on or learn new painting skills? Then this is the session for you. We have our hands on one of Brighton's top commission painters Adam Smith, here to help guide a lucky few with his professional expertise.This week's paint along will be focusing on painting a Bretonnian Knight of the Realm using oil paints!NOTHING is needed to be able to take part in this session. Maybe your favourite brush, though others are on hand. There will likely be Q&A time towards the end of the session to fire away with all your painting questionsIf you want to check out Adams work or have any questions, go head over to noiceminis on Instagram and give him a follow.This session is aimed at helping you enjoy and gain confidence in your painting with each session touching on different techniques or styles. Please be aware this is not a starter course. An 'above novice level' painting skill is required, with the patience to learn something new. Kill Team Battlegrounds Tournament 18/10/25
Join us at Dice Saloon on Saturday 18th October, for a 24 person singles event! Participants will play four rounds, each lasting 2 hours. Entry fee £2032 players, 4 swiss rounds (non-elimination), Event Schedule Registration 09:30 - 10:00 Round 1 10:00 - 12:00 Round 2 12:15 - 14:15 Lunch 14:15 - 15:00 Round 3 15:00 - 17:00 Round 4 17:15 - 19:15 Pack up 19:15 - 19:30Awards at Hare & Hounds down the road 19:30 - 19:45 Terrain and Missions Each table will be preset with a specific map layout, and players will be assigned to tables randomly. All players will play the same mission each round. We will mainly use a combination of Volkus and ITD. For ITD We will be using the maps created by Squad Games and GW Volkus. All Killzones and maps are subject to change depending on new releases. Roster submission Please select your faction through BCP by 10pm Thursday 16th October. Factions will be hidden until the roster submission deadline has passed. Brighton Battlegrounds 2 - Kill Team Tournament | Best Coast Pairings Timing Tournament Organisers will endeavour to remind players of the timing and rough milestones of where their games should be in order to complete the round on time. Players are expected to play at a good pace to ensure games are completed in time. Chess clocks are allowed, and we will be using the rules linked below. Note these will only be in use in a minority of games where one player requests to use a chess clock. Blood Bowl Spring Break 2026 - Shark Week!
The annual Spring Break Blood Bowl tournament is due to be played on floating pitches out in the bay, but there are rumours of a beast below the waves. Full Details for the Rules Pack can be found here The Team TO: Amsel (@SaltySeaWench on NAF, discord etc) The Day 10.00: Registration 10.15 - 12.45: Game 1 12.45 - 13.30: Lunch 13.30 - 16.00: Game 2 16.15 - 18.45: Game 3 19.00: Close Rounds will have a strict 2.5 hours running time. If, with an hour to go, you are not in the second half of the match, a TO will issue your table with a chess clock to ensure timekeeping. If your clock runs out of time you will only be allowed to set up players for a new drive before passing turn to your opponent. You will need to bring with you your (ideally painted) team, legible dice and all appropriate tokens. Pitches, dugouts and scatter templates will be provided. Tickets 30 places available This is a NAF sanctioned event, but NAF membership will not be a requirement. All games against non-NAF opponents will be uploaded as played against the dummy opponent for ranking purposes. Prizes First Place Runner Up Best Quint model Most Casualties Stunty Cup Spot Prizes: Round 1 - Chum! (First coach to have a player killed by a shark per Shark Bait) Round 2 - Don't go in the Water! (attempt to surf a player but fail and have your own player knocked over instead) Round 3 - Feeding Frenzy! (Fail an enforced GFI on a frenzy blitz, i.e. a GFI that you only have to take because it is the second block on a frenzy blitz) Conduct Blood Bowl can be a passionate game, but coaches are always expected to respect their opponents, and to allow them to play the game their way. Enjoy the highs, despair at the lows, but never take your eye off the fact that this is a game. Aggressive, abusive or insulting behaviour will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to disqualify coaches who act in this manner.
