WW2 IJAAF Aircraft Colours is a set of eight acrylic paints essential for painting the authentic colours used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force during World War Two. The new colours have been carefully researched for accuracy by the author of the famous “Aviation of Japan” blog. Included are six basic colours for painting the exterior surfaces and two standard interior colours. A profile guide is printed on the backside of the box. The paints are not only historically accurate and specially formulated with top quality components; they also have been designed taking into account the scale reduction effect*.  The acrylic paints are ready to use straight from the bottle; simply shake and the paint is ready to go. With this enamel product the modeler may easily represent streaking dirt effects on ship hulls painted in red primer. It can also be used on other issues such as the hull of a tank. Shake well before use. Apply your streak with a fine pointed brush in irregular vertical lines from upper parts on sides and let the paint dry for about 10 minutes. Next take a flat brush moistened in White Spirit and swipe with little pressure over the earlier applied streak to soften the effect and create a natural look.
