Dice too heavy? Need a nap midgame? Sick of losing to your friend? Well, team up with
them and let them carry you to glory at Destructive Duos: The Finale, the conclusion to
the three-part series of 2v2 Warhammer: The Old World events! Across two games,
explore 2v2 scenarios and play double the amount of people, all whilst having a
convenient person to blame for any strategic mishaps!
All you will need is a (preferably willing) partner, two allied 1000 point armies (including
a baggage train) selected using the rules in the Warhammer: The Old World Matched
Play Guide (pages 36–37) and the usual accoutrements of gaming.
If you’re new to the Old World, this is an ideal event to get involved with the game by pairing with another player: twice the players, half the responsibility!
This event is the last in a series of three events that have taken place across 2026,
each consisting of 2 games. Players will earn points towards generalship, hobbying,
best narrative alliance, and sportsmanship at each event and the player with the highest
cumulative scores in each category at the end of the third event will receive a trophy!
Warning: the Winds of Magic are blowing particularly strongly around 88 London Road,
with all of the new magic rules in effect: Channeling, Arcane Magic, Arcane Ruses, and
Disastrous Miscasts.

- If you want to ally two factions that the rules do not allow, but you can make a
convincing narrative case for why it should be allowed, let us know and we’ll
consider it.

on the Dice Saloon Discord, where others might be looking for partners for this
