    Throw Throw Burrito

    2 in stock

The world's first dodgeball card game. Collect cards. Play your hand. Throw things at your friends. Throw Throw Burrito is what you get when you cross a card game with dodgeball. Try to collect matching sets of cards faster than your opponents while simultaneously ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy airborne burritos. The cards you collect earn points, but getting hit by flying burritos loses them. So clear some space and put away the antiques, because you’ve never played a card game quite like this before. How it works: Place a pair of burritos on a table and draw cards. Keep your cards a secret. Rack up points by finding sets of three in the deck. Find matches before anyone else does. If someone plays Burrito Cards, a Battle ensues. Steal points from your opponents by hitting them with squishy toy burritos. Declare war on your friends. Some battles only involve a handful of players. Others force the entire table to engage in a Burrito War. Duel to determine the winner. During a Burrito Duel, two players must stand back to back, walk three paces, and FIRE. —description from the designer

    Tapeworm

From designer Edmund McMillen, twist, turn and trap your oppenents in this game of intestinal tension! In Tapeworm, players race to be the first to get rid of all of their cards by connecting and growing the wriggling masses of different colored worm bodies. Gameplay is simple but strategic. A player's turn includes the drawing and laying down of matching color segments, which continues until a head is attached or you run out of that color card. Whichever player ends up with an empty hand first wins the game. There are special mechanics to propel a player forward, as well as cards intended to hinder the efforts of their opponents. These cards include: Cut, to sever a worm segment at play; Peek, to draw a card and replace it with another card from a hand; Hatch, to force an opponent to draw from the deck; Swap, to look at an opponent's hand and decide if cards should be traded; Dig, to draw a card from the deck and discard one from a hand. An astoundingly easy-to-learn game of card management for the whole family that is sure to leave you holding your sides... with laughter!

    Carcassonne: Expansion 2 - Traders & Builders (2025)

    6 in stock

The second major expansion to the original game of Carcassonne, Traders & Builders contains 24 tiles with new features such as Bridges and Cities. Some tiles also feature symbols for the goods Wine, Cloth and Wheat. Players collect one of these goods when the feature that has it on the tile is scored. Players with the most of each type of good gets bonus points at the end of the game. There is a popular house rule that allows the trading of goods between players in exchange for other goods and the ability to chose where a tile is placed. There are also two new wooden playing pieces in this expansion. The Builder is like a meeple in that it may be placed in a city or road as a kind of supervisor. A subsequent tile extension of the feature the Builder is in allows the player another tile placement. Farmers will also be able to place a new Pig pawn in a field for extra points at the end of the game. Finally, Traders & Builders comes with a large cloth bag. Not only does this make it easier to keep and handle the tiles, but it also removes the problem of having non-identical backsides.Carcassonne: Traders & Builders Expansion Play Summary Traders - Some of the new city tiles depict goods: wine, grain and/or cloth. When you complete a city, your own or someone else's, you collect a matching token for each good in the city. At game end, whoever has the most goods in each category scores an additional 10 points. Builders - Each player receives a builder meeple in his color. You can add your builder to any city or road you already have in progress. Now anytime you add a tile to that city or road, you immediately get to take another turn. The builder does not count as a follower for determining control of a city or road. Pig - You can add your pig to one of your farms to enrich its value. A farm with a pig scores 4 points per completed city served instead of the usual 3.Traders & Builders is playable with or without the first expansion.Part of the Carcassonne series

    Deep Sea Adventure Boost

In Deep Sea Adventure, you and up to five other explorers are searching for riches under the sea, and while you're all rivals, you're also all poor, so you've pooled resources to rent a shared submarine...which means you're sharing the air supply too. If you don't return to the sub before air runs out, you have to drop everything in order to make it to safety. In each of three rounds, players take turns rolling dice and moving their diver along a trail of face-down treasure tokens. The deeper you go, the more valuable the tokens are!At the start of each turn, decide whether to dive deeper or head back toward the sub, lower the air supply, then roll the dice to move. On the space where you land, you can do nothing, pick up treasure (not looking at it and replacing it with an X token), or dropping off treasure in an X space. Why would you drop the object of your dreams? Because you need to make it back to the sub in order to score your treasure collection, and for each object you hold, you subtract 1 from the movement dice. Pick up too much, and you might not move at all. Glub.Deep Sea Adventure Boost features the same gameplay and components as Deep Sea Adventure, but it adds three new dice for a new way to play. These dice feature the digits 0 & 3, 1 & 3, and 1 & 2. When you roll, you now roll these three dice, then choose two of them to determine your movement, although you still subtract points for the treasure you hold. What's more, at the start of your turn, you can decide to "boost" your movement by using the sum of all three dice — but doing so uses an addition unit of air. Will your need for speed leave everyone gasping?(The original dice for Deep Sea Adventure are also included.)

    Railroad Tiles

    4 in stock

Railroad Tiles, a sequel to the roll-and-write series Railroad Ink, is a quick-playing tile placement game in which you pick tiles and place routes to build an interconnected community. The game is played over eight rounds. You start each round by drafting your tiles from the sets available in the common pool, then you place your routes in front of you, trying to make as many connections as possible; be careful not to lock yourself in with choices that are too constraining. Each round, you can also place cars, trains, or travelers to populate the tiny little landscape you're creating - as long as you have free space on your tiles. The available actions change from round to round, so you need to prepare in advance! The more pieces of the same kind each new placement connects to, the more points you earn. You can also score bonus points at game's end for placing tiles in a large rectangle without gaps and for creating sets of three adjacent city tiles. —description from the publisher
