In Kingdomino, you are a lord seeking new lands in which to expand your kingdom. You must explore all the lands, including wheat fields, lakes, and mountains, in order to spot the best plots, while competing with other lords to acquire them first. The game uses tiles with two sections, similar to Dominoes. Each turn, each player will select a new domino to connect to their existing kingdom, making sure at least one of its sides connects to a matching terrain type already in play. The order of who picks first depends on which tile was previously chosen, with better tiles forcing players to pick later in the next round. The game ends when each player has completed a 5x5 grid (or failed to do so), and points are counted based on number of connecting tiles and valuable crown symbols.

    Deep Sea Adventure Boost

In Deep Sea Adventure, you and up to five other explorers are searching for riches under the sea, and while you're all rivals, you're also all poor, so you've pooled resources to rent a shared submarine...which means you're sharing the air supply too. If you don't return to the sub before air runs out, you have to drop everything in order to make it to safety. In each of three rounds, players take turns rolling dice and moving their diver along a trail of face-down treasure tokens. The deeper you go, the more valuable the tokens are!At the start of each turn, decide whether to dive deeper or head back toward the sub, lower the air supply, then roll the dice to move. On the space where you land, you can do nothing, pick up treasure (not looking at it and replacing it with an X token), or dropping off treasure in an X space. Why would you drop the object of your dreams? Because you need to make it back to the sub in order to score your treasure collection, and for each object you hold, you subtract 1 from the movement dice. Pick up too much, and you might not move at all. Glub.Deep Sea Adventure Boost features the same gameplay and components as Deep Sea Adventure, but it adds three new dice for a new way to play. These dice feature the digits 0 & 3, 1 & 3, and 1 & 2. When you roll, you now roll these three dice, then choose two of them to determine your movement, although you still subtract points for the treasure you hold. What's more, at the start of your turn, you can decide to "boost" your movement by using the sum of all three dice — but doing so uses an addition unit of air. Will your need for speed leave everyone gasping?(The original dice for Deep Sea Adventure are also included.)

  • Save -10% dnup

    dnup

    5 in stock

Your goal in dnup is to empty your hand of cards. Each player starts with eight or ten cards in hand, with each card having different numbers (from 1-10) at top and bottom, e.g. 1 and 7. Pick up all your cards at once; you can rearrange cards from left to right at any time, but you can't revolve them. On a turn, first discard any cards on the table in front of you, then you can: 1. Play cards from your hand.2. Add one card to the table.3. Take cards from the table.4. Revolve all cards in your hand. When you play cards, you can play one or more cards of the same value — but if you play as many cards as another player has in front of them, your cards must be of higher value. If you overplay someone, e.g. playing two 5s when they have two 2s, they must revolve their cards, then return them to their hand. When you add one card, you add a card of the same value to someone else's played cards — but if that player would now have the same number of cards as a third player, the third player's cards must be a lower value, in which case they revolve them and return them to hand. When you pick up cards from in front of another player, revolve them, then add them to your hand. The first player to empty their hand scores 2 points, and cards don't return to their hand, even if beaten. The second player to empty their hand scores 1 point. Play multiple rounds until someone has at least 4 points, then whoever has the most points wins.

    Railroad Tiles

    3 in stock

Railroad Tiles, a sequel to the roll-and-write series Railroad Ink, is a quick-playing tile placement game in which you pick tiles and place routes to build an interconnected community. The game is played over eight rounds. You start each round by drafting your tiles from the sets available in the common pool, then you place your routes in front of you, trying to make as many connections as possible; be careful not to lock yourself in with choices that are too constraining. Each round, you can also place cars, trains, or travelers to populate the tiny little landscape you're creating - as long as you have free space on your tiles. The available actions change from round to round, so you need to prepare in advance! The more pieces of the same kind each new placement connects to, the more points you earn. You can also score bonus points at game's end for placing tiles in a large rectangle without gaps and for creating sets of three adjacent city tiles. —description from the publisher
